We are called to serve with devotion.

Guided by Catholic tradition and the values of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, we care for your loved ones with personalized attention and a deep regard for the gift of life. Residents in our long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and adult medical day care are treated with skill and compassion. As the only nonprofit nursing home in Jersey City, we have been helping and healing our neighbors for over 100 years.

We are called to serve with excellence.

Our short-term subacute rehabilitation outperforms the national standards of recovery and we consistently meet or exceed the standards of our referral partners. Our long-term care residents are part of our family, and we treat the whole person, emphasizing their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Healing the Spirit

Treating the whole person means daily opportunities for smiles, learning, and wonder.

Peace Care provides:

6 daily programs for both small and large groups.

5 different classes each month — 2 education, 3 physical.

Mass 4 times a week and pastoral visits 2 times a week.

At least one special event every month!
