Overture – A Peace Care Music Ministry will launch its Inaugural Autumn Series in September and will culminate in a special end-of-season concert in November 2026.
Jersey City, New Jersey, September 15, 2026 — Peace Care is pleased to announce the launch of its new music program, Overture, a Music Ministry. Its inaugural Autumn Series is designed to harness the power of music to inspire joy, encourage connection, and support the emotional and spiritual well-being of residents in its two communities, Peace Care St. Ann’s and Peace Care St. Joseph’s.
Beginning in September and continuing through November, Overture will bring music more intentionally into the lives of residents across Peace Care communities through live performances, group musical experiences, and individualized one-on-one sessions. The series will culminate in a special end-of-season concert, celebrating the residents, music, and connections created throughout the program. The final concert will be open to the public and the broader Jersey City Community.
Grant funding from the Fred C. Rummel Foundation and the Wasily Family Foundation makes Overture possible, supporting Peace Care’s commitment to innovative programming that enhances quality of life and addresses the whole person.

Throughout the Autumn Series, residents will have opportunities to participate in musical experiences tailored to their interests and abilities. In addition to group programming, individualized sessions will provide personal opportunities for engagement through favorite songs, musical memories, and shared experiences.

The end-of-season concert will serve as the culmination of the Autumn Series, bringing residents, families, staff, and members of the Peace Care community together to celebrate the impact of music and the experiences shared throughout the season.
